Monahan ISD Athletics Improvement

The project consists of the retrofitting of the existing stadium light pole with new Musco LED lighting with Musco Control Link which allows the school personnel to remotely operate the stadium lights with a cell phone. Then there is a new Football Pressbox, new Ticker Booth and Elevator, Concessions building, Baseball Fieldhouse, Baseball Pressbox, Softball Fieldhouse and renovations of the existing South Fieldhouse. We are also currently building a new Football Fieldhouse which will be 24,656 square feet in size with an indoor football practice field. These buildings will all have security systems with electronic hardware security doors which enable a complete one press button total lockdown in case of a security event. The project also has 52-16 MP security cameras at strategic locations for 24 hour video projection of the staff and students.

Lamesa Gym & Elevator

This is a 48,851 square foot project that independent Electric just now completed. This is one of many projects Independent Electric has completed for the Lamesa Independent School District. Because of the quality of the electrical work on the previous projects the school board made a ruling that they wanted Matt Moreno and his Independent Electric crew on this project. Even though Independent Electric was not the low bidder we were successfully awarded this project because of the previous quality of work performed on the previous projects. This is an achievement that we are truly very proud of.

Parkway Elementary

This project is 120,049 square feet in size and has a state of the art electrical system which can harvest the sunlight and control the interior lighting to compensate for the incoming sunlight to save energy. The project has 2 indoor and 2 outdoor gymnasiums, and a cafeteria area with a performance stage. The project has a security system with electronic hardware security doors which enable a complete one press button total lockdown in case of a security event. The project also has 40-16 MP security cameras at strategic locations for 24 hour video projection of the staff and students. The completion date on this project was September 1st, 2022 and the owner is Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD.

Monahan's Tennis Courts

We relocated 2 tennis courts and added 8 new tennis courts to the project. This one has 16 Musco LED light poles with Musco Control Link controls which can be remotely operated with a cell phone. This project is located in Monahans, Texas and the owner is Monahans-Wickett-Pyote ISD School District and the project was completed August 2nd, 2022. Look for new photos of this project in 2023.
